Hash # 668 - An American in Paris (South) Hash - Sunday, 24th January, 2016

OK, I couldn't really come up with a good idea for the name of the Hash, but as we have an American Hareing, in 5" Uncle Fucker, and people refer to Buenos Aires as the Paris of the South, it was the best I could come up with.

When: Sunday, 24th January, meeting at 11 for 11:30 start (ish)...

Where: Martinez - Pasteur 921, between Las Heras & Lavalle.

How to Get there: Train from Retiro towards Tigre, and probably the best station to get off at is La Lucia and walk, or possibly Martinez and walk back - It's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. If you are coming by car, Pasteur is off Libertador, but it's one way, so take Provano off Libertador at 12900, and head down to Las Heras at Provano 900, turn right onto Las Heras, one block, and right again...

We will be in the shade near the small fountain at the corner of Esmeralda and Arenales

A wonderful country hash is coming, a couple of sunny days in green area, nice meal, swimming pool and quiet place.

HOW TO GET THERE: Transport to Chacabuco. Of course the best way is on car sharing the fuel cost, 2,5 - 3,0 hs driving, 200 km. In the file attached you could find mini bus and bus options.
Address National Route # 7, km 201, on right 200 mts, in front of "Las Moras". There´s an advertising on the Route "Las Moras". S 34° 37,32¨8', W 60° 25,339' .

2.- Accommodation for the Saturday 12th. We´ve available space in the Quincho and in the Garage, where with a pad or something it´s possible to rest. On the same way it´s possible to place a tend on the green. It´s the cheapest option. In the file attached you could find a set of options for hotels in Chacabuco. In front of the house is Las Moras with a good rate / quality.

3.- Scheduling. Activities are planned from early afternoon on Saturday ( 2,00 PM ), with a Hash around 5,30 pm. Barbecue around 9 pm. Sunday an early Hash around 10,00 am and a lunch around 2,00 pm. Depart time for your convenience.
We´re open to receive in the Saturday morning the ones who want to enjoy more time in the Quinta. But for logistic reasons please bring something to share for the Saturday lunch.

Sunday October 25th - ELECTION DAY

You may be wondering where the notice for the Hash is this week. If you did the Maths (Yes, my Yankee friends, Maths does have an S on the end of it!), this Sunday should see the regular fortnightly hash. Well, you may have noticed that there is the little matter of the Presidential Elections taking place this weekend. As a result, by Special Decree, all fun and joviality is cancelled for the day, and as bars etc., are all closed on Sunday, it seems sensible to allow people to vote in peace, and not be persuaded to make the wrong choice by a bunch of runners passing through their neighbourhoods.

But never fear, as normal service will be removed next week, and not wanting to scare you - BUT, it could well be a Halloween Hash - Spooky timing.......
