Follow THAT - This Weeks Hash #592 - The El Tano Meat Feast in Avellaneda Hash

Now there's a nice snappy title for a Hash!

After last Sundays St Patrick's Day Hash, which was certainly one of the most eventful Hashes in recent history, with no fewer than 19 Virgins, plus 3 Visiting Hashers, not to mention the 50+ locals who turned up, we head to the southern city of Avellaneda and the wonderful hospitality of our hares, Tongue y Lingus and myself. Please note, you are reading this right, it is this week, Sunday March 24th. Due to Easter we didn't want to wait three weeks for the next hash.

BUT, This is a Hash with a difference. As you all know, it is traditional for the hares to supply food after the circle. However, for a few years, many hashers have talked about a famous Parilla Libre here in Avellaneda, El Tano, and so we have decided to forgo Tongue y Lingus's Famous Chorizo a la Portuguesa, and for those that want to, we will head to the Restaurant en masse for a great afternoon of eating and drinking. Obviously, this will be a Pay Your Own Way Meal, and the Hash Fee is reduced to AR$20, simply to cover the beer for the hash and circle.

The cost of the parilla is AR$130, plus drinks.

WHEN: Sunday 24th March 11:00 for 11:30 - We will be setting off on time (For A Change), as we have the restaurant booked for a specific time.

HARES: Inspect her Assets and Tongue y Lingus

WHERE: The palatial residence of your favourite RA and his beautiful partner Tongue y Lingus, which is at Solier 2585, Sarandi, Avellaneda, Buenos Aires.

HOW TO GET THERE:

BY CAR: It's about a 15 minute driver from 9 de Julio in the centre of the Capital, and a very straight road.

BY BUS: It's even easier by Collectivo - The Number 24 bus, which runs from Villa del Parque, across town, with stops near Plaza de Mayo (On Roque Saenz Pena {Diagonal Norte}, just down from the Cathedral, and very near all the subte stations that converge on Plaza de Mayo), and the journey takes around 25 minutes from Plaza de Mayo on a Sunday morning. You need to get off in Avellaneda, on Av. Belgrano at the corner of O'Higgins (best to ask the driver). From the bus stop, walk up O'Higgins, two blocks, turn left onto Solier, and the house is across the street.

WHAT TO BRING: Beer Mug (Yes, we will still drink copious amounts of beer before dinner), Hash Fee of AR$20
